Vice President – OPERATIONS

John Hirt is a highly experienced hospitality professional with over 33 years of expertise in Food and Beverage. He believes in leading by example and promoting a balanced focus on caring for team members, guests, and owners to achieve successful properties.

John’s career in Catering/Food & Beverage at Marriott paved the way for various leadership roles at Marriott, Hilton, and IHG. He has held roles in Food & Beverage, Rooms, and as a General Manager at the property level, above property level, and with multi-unit responsibilities.

In 2017, John joined NHG as General Manager of the 500-room Holiday Inn Resort in Orlando, FL. Later, he moved to the high-volume oceanfront Hampton Inn in Jacksonville Beach, FL. In 2021, John received Newport Hospitality Group’s General Manager of the Year award, a well-deserved recognition for his hard work.

John enjoys spending time with his family and their dogs outside of work. He also has a passion for music and enjoys performing.
